![]() ![]() It’s clear long before Swift asks “did the love affair maim you too?” that this relationship left its impact. In the song Swift describes a highly toxic relationship in vivid detail. This extended version comes after years of requests from fans. Every lyric is striking, every note flawless. “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” is the crown jewel of Red (Taylor’s Version). She asks “will you still want me when I’m nothin’ new?” The answer has been a resounding yes as is evident from the response to Red (Taylor’s Version) which debuted at No. On the other end of the emotional spectrum, “Nothing New” finds Swift questioning the treatment of women in the spotlight. It’s upbeat and catchy, foreshadowing Swift’s 1989 turn to pop. I like “Message In A Bottle” for what it adds to the album. My current favorite vault tracks are “Message In A Bottle”, “Nothing New” and “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)”. The Vault tracks, like the rest of the album, span a range of emotions. I can’t get over the line “what about the promises” which is repeated throughout the song. “Babe (Taylor’s Version)” in particular blew me away. ![]() Taylor’s versions of both tracks superseded my expectations. Two of the tracks “Babe” and “Better Man” had previously been released by Sugarland and Little Big Town, respectively. ![]() Leading up to Red (Taylor’s Version)’s release I was most anticipating the “From the Vault” tracks. Red (my version) is out /Ji26KdOlWQ- Taylor Swift November 12, 2021 Red is about to be mine again, but it has always been ours. It never would have been possible to go back & remake my previous work, uncovering lost art & forgotten gems along the way if you hadn’t emboldened me. Yet somehow, Swift manages to preserve the feelings behind the songs while simultaneously polishing the quality of every note. It’s evident just how much Swift has grown as an artist since the initial release of Red. I also immediately noticed how much more effortless Swift’s voice sounds on “I Knew You Were Trouble (Taylor’s Version)”. There’s something about the lines “I don’t know about you/but I’m feeling 22” in Taylor’s version that wasn’t there before. I was shocked how much better “22 (Taylor’s Version)” was the first time I heard it. ![]() On this album Swift revists hits like “22” and “I Knew You Were Trouble” that hinted at her future success and impending pop transition. In “Ronan” Swift manages to capture the heartbreak that childhood cancer causes. Two years before that my friend Mason died from Leukemia. In 2011, three-year-old Ronan died from neuroblastoma. “Ronan” is one of Swift’s most heartbreaking songs and also one of my personal favorites. I was overwhelmed with excitement when I solved the puzzle and discovered that Swift was including “Ronan” on Red. Swift’s only major departure from the original album comes on “Girl At Home” which has been revamped into an upbeat pop hit with the help of producer Elvira Anderfjärd. For example, in the chorus “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (Taylor’s Version)” the background vocal “wee” is more clear and interesting than the original. The few changes made are subtle and ultimately improve the songs. 6.Īs was the case with Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Red (Taylor’s Version) is true to the original album. The full tracklist was released the next day on Aug. Fans used clues in the video to solve a crossword puzzle with the song titles and guest features of the new tracks. Swift first teased the nine new songs on Red in a video shared to her social media platforms on Aug. The “new/old autumn heartbreak album” includes the original 16 songs, bonus tracks off the deluxe version, Ronan and nine songs straight from “the vault”. The album contains 30 tracks and features artists such as Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, Phoebe Bridgers and Gary Lightbody. This follows the April 9 release of Fearless (Taylor’s Version), the first of Swift’s re-recordings. Taylor Swift continued her mission of reclaiming ownership of her first six studio albums with the release of Red (Taylor’s Version) on Nov. Photo courtesy of Taylor Swift on Twitter. Commandos is a real-time strategy game that ended up being a complete revolution due to its well designed graphics and the playability it had to offer. There's usually only one way to do it, and it can be quite tricky to figure out.Īlthough this is an older game, the graphics don't look too bad they're realistic, detailed and colourful, if not exactly high-resolution.ĭespite its age, Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines is still worth checking out if you prefer timing and tactical puzzles to charging forward blasting. 8/10 (308 votes) - Download Commandos Free. Don't count on finishing even easy missions on the first try. ![]() Be warned, though: the missions are tooth-grindingly difficult, requiring patience, planning and usually several attempts to complete. There are 20 missions in Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, many of them based on classic war movies like Where Eagles Dare. The Driver can take control of vehicles, the Sniper excels at long-range marksmanship, the Sapper lays deadly traps and so on. For example: the Green Beret is an expert at hand-to-hand combat, while the Marine can swim underwater and use his speargun to take out enemies silently. At long range, the soldier won't see you when you're hidden, while nothing can hide you from him at short range.Įach commando has special abilities that will help you complete your mission. When you see an enemy soldier, look for the cone extending from him the light green area is his close-range vision, while the dark green area is long-range. Some surfaces will retain your footprints, for example, so yo'll need to avoid them if enemy troops are nearby. You'll need to think not only about how to stay out of enemy soldiers' line of sight but how to avoid them seeing traces of your passage. Losing even one of your men means failing the mission, so practice and planning are key.Ĭommandos: Behind Enemy Lines uses an isometric map that allows you to see the whole map - apparently Allied reconnaissance is pretty good - and plan your assault in afvance. Your commandos aren't heavily armed, and they're badly outnumbered, so you'll have to rely on stealth and tactical thinking rather than on blowing the bad guys away. The player takes control of a small team of elite WWII commandos who must infiltrate Axis-controlled areas to carry out a series of missions. ![]()

It’s one of the oldest literatures in the world. ![]() For every fan of Tamil: Eight literary names your bookshelf can’t do without ![]() ![]() ![]() But what if we can’t? What if we’re stuck in a loop, slave to new innovations that only amplify hate, human flaw, and social fragility? In the techno-dystopian wheelhouse that is Charlie Brooker’s darkly imaginative anthology series, Black Mirror, that is often the case at hand. What did you think of this episode? Which interpretation do you agree with? Let us know in the comments below.Utopianism rests upon a single, fundamental truth: that we can be better than we were before. With technology as advanced as it is, it’s not likely that she’ll get away with this for long. Think about how many people she killed and all the evidence she left behind. Just as Mia’s friend was guilt-ridden all his life and it eventually caught up with him, it’s possible that Mia may not be caught and be living with guilt and paranoia for the rest of her life.īut as commenter “Coward Stern” added below, even without the guinea pig’s memory, the cops are likely to still eventually realize Mia is the murderer. The ending is about guilt shame and paranoia…” This is a good point. Varun suggested that the cops might not have been there to get Mia at all. This leaves us with a question as to whether the police were even able to get anything from the guinea pig’s memory that was useable at all. So they rely on sound and smell more for navigation. But they lack depth perception and can actually be easily injured from their poor eyesight. They can also see 33 images per second compared to humans’ 22 images per second. ![]() A guinea pig’s eyes are located on the sides of his face, letting him see 340 degrees. But their vision itself is relatively poor, although they can distinguish colors. They keep their eyes open all the time, even when sleeping. Guinea pigs actually have very poor vision. Varun Reddy left a comment below providing an alternative interpretation to the ending that is so fascinating, I couldn’t ignore it. Interpretation Two: The Police Weren’t There for Mia At All But the chances that she might end up at a White Bear camp well that depends on the timeline. We have to assume that the ratings of Nosedive don’t exist in this timeline, or should would be downvoted so much that she likely wouldn’t be able to do much of anything ever again, even if she were ever released from prison. If we are to believe that some of these episodes take place in the same universe, then perhaps Mia will be facing a White Bear type of punishment after this. But they can likely now use that as enough probable cause to read Mia’s memory (again) and see exactly what she did. ![]() So legally, it’s unclear just how heavily they can rely on the guinea pig’s memory. In contrast, memories in this episode are tricky and aren’t completely accurate. That device recorded what happened perfectly and there was no room for error. But in that episode, the device was implanted and recorded everything the person saw. If some of this sounds familiar, it’s because a memory-recording device was also used in The Entire History of You. The guinea pig couldn’t explain what it was seeing, but the police could still read the memories and see Mia in the guinea pig’s mind. But the police likely played sounds and put scents near the guinea pig that they hoped would trigger the memory. It’s not clear how the police could trigger the guinea pig’s memories, since they can’t actually talk to the pet about what happened. But Mia missed another key witness: the guinea pig. If there was any way to make a terrible murder even worse, that was it. She needlessly killed the baby, as we later learn, because the baby was blind. Mia feared that Shazza’s baby saw Mia in the house, and thus could have been a witness alerting the police to Mia’s involvement in the murder. Interpretation One: The Guinea Pig Is the Key As an alert reader pointed out in the comments below, there are two interpretations for this story’s ending. She then kills the only person who knew where Shazza was, Shazza’s husband, and ultimately kills Shazza’s baby too. And it’s all because she did a favor for a friend (albeit, a favor she really shouldn’t have been doing in the first place.) When she realizes Shazza saw her memories of the murder after using the corroborator device, Mia panics, kidnaps Shazza, and kills her. ![]() This post will have MAJOR spoilers for Crocodile from Season 4 and spoilers for previous seasons, so don’t read on unless you’ve already seen the episode.Īt the end of the episode, everything comes full circle and Mia becomes the monster, the person that years earlier she never wanted to be. The ending, however, has left some fans with some questions, which we will attempt to explain below. Crocodile is the third episode in the lineup, and it may be one of the darkest episodes of the entire series. Black Mirror hits a homerun with the new Crocodile episode from Season 4. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() For example, if the player enters Octo Canyon as an Octoling, they will temporarily revert to an Inkling using their previous appearance while playing as one for Agent 4, while entering the Deepsea Metro as an Inkling will use the player's previous Octoling appearance for Agent 8.
